I’m pleased to share my recent Power BI project focused on railway performance and passenger analytics. The project aimed to transform raw operational data into actionable insights that support better scheduling, customer experience, and strategic planning. Using data from journeys, tickets, refunds, and delays, I built a set of interactive dashboards that highlight key business themes such as passenger segmentation, route efficiency, temporal travel trends, and refund behavior. Among the findings, off-peak journeys outnumbered peak trips, specific routes like Manchester–Liverpool emerged as the busiest corridors, and delay patterns were most common during morning and evening rush hours. The project also explored operational reliability, with 87% of trains running on time and only 7% of journeys experiencing delays. Through DAX modeling, What-If scenario analysis, and intuitive visualization design, the dashboard demonstrates how data-driven insights can improve transport reliability and customer satisfaction.
